At Horse Shadow Run, your horse’s care and comfort is our top priority. Our horses are fed twice per day, and given top-quality timothy/orchard grass hay, premium feed from Southern States, and will take care of owner-provided supplements as requested. Horses enjoy individual and small group turnout each day or night, depending on the season, and stalls are cleaned daily. Also, because we have invested in the environmentally safe, chemical-free Fly Predator System, our stables have fewer flies throughout the warm months. HSR has regular equine veterinary and farrier visits, and scheduled spring and fall vaccinations throughout the year. Our professional staff works hard to make sure each horse is happy and healthy!
The stables at Horse Shadow Run are well constructed with 12′ x 12′ stalls that are maintained to the highest standard. Boarders can enjoy our two private tack rooms with individual cubbies, while our lesson students and horses have their own tack room and supplies.

Horse Shadow Run boasts miles of trails for the riders who love a relaxing ride through the woods. For the english and western riders, we have a round pen with sand footing for training, and a 95’ x 190’ sand footed, fenced arena and a slight larger 95’ x 200’ sand jumping arena. Our arenas are lighted and irrigated to make sure the horses and riders have a safe and comfortable place to work. While we love to teach, our number one rule is Safety first! All riders are required to wear an ASTM/SEI riding helmet while riding.
